“ Charming little cafe This cozy cafe is a hidden gem perfect for a relaxed morning coffee or a laid-back lunch. The menu is simple but thoughtfully curated, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. I had the breakfast burrito and my husband had the chicken fried steak breakfast and French toast and everything was delicious.What really makes this place stand out is the outdoor seating area. It's peaceful, tucked in the forest and shaded enough to enjoy even on a warm day. Service was friendly and unhurried, which adds to the chill vibe. Whether you're meeting a friend or just want a quiet place to enjoy your coffee, this spot hits the mark. Definitely coming back. ”

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home with their warm and friendly service. The food? Incredible. Every bite was full of flavor and truly satisfying. While the brewed coffee could be a bit stronger for my taste, I honestly didn’t mind—it just left more room to enjoy the amazing food. And speaking of amazing, the cinnamon roll is an absolute must-try! Yes, it can get crowded on weekends, and the wait might be a little long, but that’s only because it’s *that* good. We’ve already been back several times and plan to keep returning. Thank you, Mountain View, for consistently delivering fantastic breakfasts and making every visit something to look forward to. ”
“ Delicious and filling food! Plenty of people agreed, as there would have been about a 30 minute wait to eat inside when we arrived at 11:00, so we ate on the patio where we didn't have to wait to get seated. ”
“ Stopped in for a girls' lunch with some friends today. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. A little slow for food to come out, but they were slammed with the lunch crowd. I had the East Coast Club and their spicy fried pickles. The pickles were a little greasy but were delicious, especially with their dilly ranch. The sandwich was fantastic. I love that they toasted all the bread slices. My friend got a salad that looked amazing. My star deduction for atmosphere is because I'd love to have a Pergola type roof instead of umbrellas and rhe chairs are kinda scary for a plus size person. I'd prefer a seat with a wider bottom and no arms. The chairs were either really low with side arms or a garden type chair with a very small round seat. Otherwise it was a lovely lunch. ”
“ A great cafe in Black Forest away from the noise of the city. We love their story of how the owners started their journey and came to Colorado Springs to run their own restaurant. Many of their flavors are their own creation. My normal go-to breakfast dish when trying a new restaurant is Eggs Benedict. So, I tried their signature Mountain Harvest Benedict with their homemade hollandaise sauce. The sauce was very favorable and definitely tasty. Their Gravy Skillet meal was also extremely tasty. Their biscuit recipe is light and fluffy and has a great flavor that is not dried out or bland. They also add grilled onions to their hashbrowns, which also adds just enough of a good flavor where seasoning is not needed. Their Stuffed French Toast with creme and strawberries was also filling and tasty. The French toast was thick, fluffy, and light. The Mountain View Cafe has become one of our favorite Sunday morning activities on the motorcycle. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed! ”

The waitresses, which I believe are the owners, were very attentive & kept checking up on us. The food was amazing & gave me that “home” feeling. We will definitely stop by again sometime soon! ”
